About the Artist:
Awarded the Congressional Gold medal and France's Legion of Honor, Yosh was born on June 30, 1925 in Rosemead, California. In 1943 while incarcerated at the Gila River WRA camp in Arizona, Yosh enlisted in the U.S. Army, and joined the 100th/442nd RCT, M Company.

Robert Asaka "Auski" Tamura
Robert was born in Hawthorne, California on Feburary 19, 1923. He attended Choinard Art Institute but his studies were interrupted by WWII. Drafted in 1943 while working for Disney Studios in New York, Robert served in the Military Intelligence Service as an illustrator for the Army Service Weekly publication in Occupied Japan.
