One-Puka-Puka

This photo features two 100th Infantry Battalion soldiers of the Headquarters Company, Stanley Hamamura (left) and Lawrence Iwamoto (right) in Civitavecchia, Italy. Both were in the radio section of the Communication platoon along with Hidenobu Hiyane, who took the photo and is still alive at 102 years old. Hamamura, Iwamoto and Hiyane were radio operators who followed their officers around with radios for their immediate use at any time. The words "one puka puka" are overlaid on the image in gold, honoring the Hawaiian origins of the 100th Infantry Battalion. "Puka" means "hole" in Hawaiian. Available in Mushroom.

These tees are washed with natural enzymes, resulting in a broken-in feel. Heavy and sturdy feel, with a more generous fit and higher neckline.
